Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2027 (DV Commodities)

As a Software Engineer Intern at DV Trading, you will work in small groups within the development team and/or trading teams to build low latency applications, systems, and trading tools that make a direct impact to the firm. You'll deliver well-scoped, self-contained projects within the established production codebase, learning to integrate new functionality cleanly with mature systems while taking full ownership of the code you ship.

What you bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with expected graduation between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages, including C++ and/or Python
• Ability to read and navigate an existing codebase and deliver a contained project within it
• Effective use of AI coding tools paired with the ability to critically review generated code and own its correctness
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ideally applied to numerical or performance-sensitive problems
• Ability to work onsite at the New York office 5 days a week
