Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at LAPO Blockchain, you help build the next generation of financial tools for the crypto ecosystem. You combine solid coding skills with blockchain knowledge to apply cutting-edge technologies at scale, working across a distributed team to deliver secure, performant, and maintainable software.

What you'll do

• Build intelligent distributed products backed by blockchain infrastructure
• Collaborate with fellow software engineers, front-end developers, product managers, and technical program managers
• Design and implement features with attention to quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, and security
• Create, iterate, and improve services in an environment requiring comfort with ambiguity

What you bring

• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of software development in the blockchain space
• Fluency in at least one major programming language such as C++, Go, Node.js, or Python
• Prior knowledge of major blockchain technical details, consensus protocols, and/or EVM and Solidity
• Experience with NoSQL databases and understanding of principles and features for different database types
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to work full-stack and startup experience preferred

Nice to have

• Experience with Ethereum, Solidity, smart contracts, and other major blockchain technologies
• Experience developing mobile applications
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Go, Node.js, or Python
• Experience mentoring other software engineers
• Strong advocacy of agile engineering practices
