Software Engineer, Mobile

As a Software Engineer, Mobile at OKX, you will build and scale high-performance, resilient native mobile applications that power OKX's core product ecosystems. You will work on cross-functional engineering challenges at global scale, partnering closely with product design, backend architecture, security, and regional teams to deliver features used by millions of global users.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain modular, reliable native mobile features (iOS or Android) used by millions of global users
• Drive technical decision-making on mobile architecture, API design, performance optimization, and offline/network resiliency
• Partner closely with Product Management, Design, and Backend Engineering to translate complex user and commercial requirements into intuitive, reliable mobile experiences
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while maintaining high engineering standards for code reviews, testing, security, and monitoring
• Apply AI coding tools actively in your workflow, not only for code generation, but also to build and maintain repeatable personal AI development workflows
• Leverage modern development tools, automated CI/CD pipelines, and productivity workflows to maintain rapid iteration speeds

What you bring

• Solid software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building, shipping, or maintaining production native mobile applications (iOS with Swift/Objective-C or Android with Kotlin/Java)
• Strong understanding of mobile system design, clean architecture, memory management, testing, and performance tuning
• The ability to actively apply AI coding tools in your workflow and continuously optimize your personal engineering productivity
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to take ownership of end-to-end features and drive execution independently

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, crypto, digital payments, high-concurrency consumer apps, or growth systems
• Familiarity with mobile architecture patterns, CI/CD pipelines, experimentation frameworks, or attribution tools
