SOFTWARE ENGINEER

As a Software Engineer at Salvatech, you will work on the core protocol of Tezos, contributing to innovation in blockchain technology and making a direct impact on the Tezos ecosystem. You'll join a rapidly growing Engineering team in London, collaborating with other engineers in the Tezos ecosystem, mentoring junior teammates, and tackling complex, challenging problems while learning new programming languages like OCaml and Rust.

What you'll do

• Develop and iterate on the core protocol of Tezos
• Collaborate directly with other engineers in the Tezos ecosystem
• Mentor junior teammates on the engineering team
• Come up with new ideas and bring them into production

What you bring

• Strong hands-on experience in software engineering
• Strong computer fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
• Good communication skills and a passion for collaboration and innovation
• Interest in Functional Programming

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Functional Programming
• Competitive programming background such as ACM, IOI, or ICPC
• Problem-solving experience such as IMO or Putnam
• Mathematics background
