Spire Labs - Senior Rust Engineer – Based Rollups (3)

At Spire Labs, you'll help build the future of rollup infrastructure by creating a modular rollup framework that enables synchronous cross-chain composability. Today, rollups are siloed and developers must choose between scalability and interoperability. You'll work on architecture where app-specific L3s can interoperate as smoothly as contracts on Ethereum, with shared sequencing, preconfirmations, and unified execution environments that unlock atomic, cross-chain interactions-all without trusted bridges or brittle async calls.

What you bring

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on production-grade Rust
• Deep understanding of systems programming, concurrency, memory safety, and performance optimization
• Experience with Ethereum or other blockchain systems such as client implementations, zk tooling, rollups, or related infrastructure
• Familiarity with L2 architectures including optimistic rollups, zk-rollups, and modular stacks

Nice to have

• Contributions to open-source Rust or crypto projects
• Familiarity with Cairo, zkVMs, Layer Zero, or Succinct
