As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Helius, you own the storytelling function for the leading developer platform for Solana. Helius powers many of the most widely used crypto applications, serving teams like Coinbase, Phantom, and Jupiter. You'll join a fast-shipping team that launches four products in a single week, and you'll ensure that Marketing stays ahead of that pace. You'll report to the Head of Growth and work cross-functionally with Founders, Engineering, Product, and Revenue teams.
What you'll do
- Build and own a product launch calendar and playbook, sized by launch tier, so the team gets ahead of releases instead of scrambling to catch up. Zero missed product announcements is a relevant KPI.
- Own positioning across the full product suite. Build a cohesive cross-product narrative, a clear hierarchy of who each product is for, and clarify key differences across products to drive awareness of existing and future products.
- Bring a point of view on timing and packaging. Hold a launch when it should be bundled with a related release and recommend when two products should go to market as one offering.
- Own how you communicate pricing changes so customers understand what changed and why.
- Tell the story to the right audience. Helius sells to apps and to traders, from individuals up to large institutions. Build an in-depth understanding of each audience and tailor the narrative accordingly.
What you bring
- 7+ years in B2B product marketing, much of it spent on technical products such as developer platforms, infrastructure, or crypto. Engineers who moved into marketing fit this well.
- Zero-to-one experience building a product marketing function rather than inheriting one.
- The ability to read a spec, a set of docs, or a changelog and decide for yourself what matters and who needs to hear about it. You don't need to write code, but you should understand why a developer would choose gRPC over WebSockets or webhooks, and be able to explain it.
- A track record of running technical product launches start to finish, coordinating across teams that do not report to you. Launches involving outside partners are especially relevant.
- Strong technical writing. Your launch posts should hold up with the engineers who built the product and still land with someone seeing it for the first time.
- The ability to move work across teams without becoming an obstacle. You can hold Engineering and Revenue to their commitments without leaning on process or nagging.
- A strong point of view, backed by data. You should be able to debate with founders and change their minds.
- A high degree of ownership and agency, eager to take charge of projects with undefined process.
- Resourcefulness, low ego, and self-direction. You would rather start than wait to be pointed at something.
- Knowledge of the Solana ecosystem, or readiness to learn it quickly. Familiarity with RPC infrastructure, validators, and apps helps, but appetite to go deep matters more than time spent in crypto.
- An existing presence on X and familiarity with how the crypto community communicates.
What we offer
- Flexible hours, roughly 25-30 hours a week, structured as a contract with a path to full-time.
- Compensation of $155k+ (depending on years of experience and location) for full-time, prorated for part-time.
- Remote work, anywhere in the US.
- Long-term opportunity with the possibility to convert to full-time for the right candidate.
