Sr Program Performance Management Specialist (PPM/EVM)

As a Sr Program Performance Management Specialist at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you provide contract and program cost and schedule management and analysis for new and mature programs typically valued up to $10M per year. Working as an individual contributor, you develop time-phased cost and schedule baselines, analyze program performance, monitor Estimate at Complete and schedule completion dates, and make recommendations to program managers and program leads. This is a PPM/EVM role, not a PM or PMP role.

What you'll do

• Develop the program time-phased cost and schedule baseline within contract parameters in conjunction with the program team
• Analyze program performance (historical and predictive) and monitor the contract/program Estimate at Complete and schedule completion date
• Make recommendations to program manager and program leads
• Assist in the development of a time-phased budget and schedule to meet all contract and program objectives
• Collect and update program performance data, prepare and analyze historical and predictive measures, and review results with program stakeholders
• Maintain and status the program schedule
• Identify and analyze the program critical path and driving paths to schedule specific milestones
• Assist in preparation of program review documents and customer-required documents
• Coordinate contract/program Estimate At Complete, risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance as input into business financial commitments
• Update program time-phased budget and schedule and required documents associated with internal and contract changes
• Interface with multiple Integrated Product Team leads and Program Managers
• May serve as a team contributor on an EVMS requirement program

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project
• Earned Value Management or scheduling tool knowledge
• Solid knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles
• U.S. citizenship (required due to the nature of work performed within company facilities)
