SVP/VP, Crypto Trader, Global Financial Market

As a Cryptocurrency Trader at DBS Global Financial Markets, you join the Digital Asset Trading team to lead desk alpha capabilities and build the desk derivatives franchise business. You bring a deep understanding of the crypto market, derivatives expertise particularly in options on major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, and a strong track record in trading to help drive day-to-day desk operations.

What you'll do

• Strengthen desk trading capabilities by identifying volatility and skew opportunities across different maturities and instruments in options trading
• Design and implement trading strategies including delta-hedging, gamma scalping, and calendar spreads
• Monitor and manage portfolio risk including Greeks, tail risks, and implied versus realized volatilities
• Collaborate with quant and tech teams to improve pricing models, backtesting infrastructure, and execution tools
• Work with the sales team to build franchise business and achieve revenue targets
• Support the structuring team in designing bespoke crypto-linked structured products and payoffs
• Analyze market trends, news, and blockchain data to drive informed trading decisions
• Support and assist with desk day-to-day operations

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in options trading, with preference for crypto market experience
• Strong understanding of option pricing, volatility surfaces, and risk management techniques
• Familiarity with crypto market structure including perpetual futures, DEXs, and wallets
• Proficiency in Python, KDB, or other relevant tools for trading analytics and automation
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
