SWE, Backend

As a Backend Software Engineer at Conduit, you'll develop the systems powering the rollup-native cloud platform that scales Ethereum. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and scaling the next generation of services for the Conduit Platform, working with both open-source software and in-house solutions.

What you'll do

• Architect, design, and evolve the core Conduit Platform
• Deliver scalable and robust software solutions in a DevOps environment
• Create and enhance tooling and processes to boost maintainability and reliability
• Participate in an on-call rotation

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience building and supporting production systems
• A solid understanding of distributed systems and security best practices
• Experience converting customer, product, and business requirements into scalable solutions
• Proficiency in debugging complex issues across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers to tackle complex technical problems through mentoring, peer reviews, and design reviews

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang, Python, or Rust
• Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, or GCS
• Excitement about building robust public-facing, large-scale, always-on services
