Swedish Translator

As a Swedish Translator at CryptoMize, you own the Swedish-language layer of live engagements across a 18-country footprint. Based at our New Delhi HQ in this full-time, permanent position, you translate Swedish to English and English to Swedish at client grade, covering official correspondence, media material, campaign content, and web properties.

What you'll do

• Carry the Swedish layer of Nordic-facing engagements - official correspondence, agency summaries, and campaign material shipping under your countersign
• Set the register per document: authority-formal Swedish where an agency expects it, plain klarspråk where the audience requires it
• Own compound-integrity review, catching split-compound errors (särskrivning hazard) before they reach clients
• Govern terminology for Sweden and finlandssvenska readers, marking Finland-Swedish divergences where they change intended meaning
• Guard diacritics (å, ä, ö) through every CMS, export, and typesetting step to prevent corruption
• Assign address-form conventions on record, maintaining formality where authority correspondence demands it despite the du-reformen informality shift
• Record contested precedent rulings from SAOL and Språkrådet into the desk's style authority for sustained reference beyond the engagement
• Run intern markup for the Swedish queue and keep the Nordic playbook current with what engagements teach
