System Administrator

As a System Administrator at Digital Wave Finance, you manage and scale the infrastructure that powers next-generation trading strategies. Based in Zug, Switzerland, you join a firm that has spent over five years building software at the forefront of crypto trading, applying rigorous mathematical models and data-driven methods to financial markets.

What you'll do

• Manage Ubuntu Linux systems in data centers and cloud VPCs
• Install, provision and configure Linux servers
• Troubleshoot hardware, system and application issues
• Implement systems, network and performance monitoring
• Improve infrastructure and security

What you bring

• A degree in IT or similar qualification
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS
• Experience with automation and configuration management using Ansible and Terraform
• Understanding of Ethernet and IP networking and related protocols
• Experience with NFS and Ceph storage
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes containerization
• Basic understanding of SQL, NoSQL and Key-Value databases
• Scripting skills in Bash and Python
• Basic comprehension of C and C++
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab and Jenkins
