Talent Sourcer

As a Talent Sourcer at Payward (Kraken), you join the Global Sourcing team tasked with building hiring infrastructure for one of the most innovative financial platforms in the industry. You will source talent across a diverse portfolio of businesses—including Kraken, NinjaTrader, and Breakout—tackling roles that span crypto, fintech, tokenized assets, and traditional markets, often with no prior track record or data to guide you. This is a high-ownership, fully remote role where you drive speed and quality through deep market intelligence, creative sourcing, and close partnership with hiring teams.

What you'll do

• Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to design and execute effective hiring strategies
• Gather, organize and communicate competitive market intelligence, identifying where target talent exists and sharing industry trends
• Collaborate with the broader sourcing team in leveraging best practices across research techniques, boolean searches, tools, networking and other sourcing methods
• Independently develop and maintain candidate flow across a variety of disciplines, using data to drive decision making and process improvement
• Source candidates through a variety of search resources including social media, internal databases, job boards, networking, and internet searches
• Be an ambassador to Kraken and Payward, sharing company values and driving brand awareness in the market
• Participate in research projects and other initiatives that improve hiring infrastructure

• An exceptional track record sourcing talent for reputable, fast-growing, high-bar technology and product businesses against ruthless competition, ideally in crypto, fintech or product-driven organizations
• High craft in translating hiring needs into accurate sourcing strategies, with strong expertise in boolean and X-ray sourcing
• High motor and scrappiness, viewing problems as opportunities rather than obstacles
• Strong product sense
• Sound appreciation for the fundamentals of talent acquisition, with creativity and curiosity about modern sourcing tactics
• High agency, strong bias for action, and the confidence to push boundaries, influence stakeholders, and close exceptional talent without compromise
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, owning your outcomes, and moving with urgency in a fully async, remote-native setting
• Ability to produce compelling market intelligence based on business and industry knowledge, with fintech and crypto understanding required
