Technical Architect - Blockchain

As a Technical Architect at Blockoville, you define and drive the technology vision across our Travel and Crypto platforms. You bring deep expertise in scalable system design, cloud-native architectures, fintech systems, payment integrations, distributed systems, and blockchain technologies. You serve as the technical authority across multiple products, guiding architecture decisions, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring all systems meet enterprise-grade standards for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the overall technology roadmap across all platforms.
• Lead architecture design for web, mobile, backend, cloud, and blockchain systems.
• Establish engineering standards, coding practices, architectural guidelines, and governance processes.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, databases, and infrastructure.
• Architect high-volume flight booking systems with real-time inventory and pricing integrations.
• Design scalable payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, and financial transaction systems.
• Architect integrations with airlines, aggregators, payment gateways, banking systems, and third-party providers.
• Design fault-tolerant systems capable of handling high transaction volumes.
• Architect OTC trading systems, liquidity platforms, wallets, and digital asset infrastructure.
• Define architecture for blockchain integrations, smart contracts, tokenization, and DeFi-related products.
• Evaluate blockchain frameworks such as Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Hyperledger, and Layer-2 solutions.
• Design secure on-chain and off-chain communication mechanisms.
• Architect microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications.
• Design CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
• Lead cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Oversee containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Establish security architecture standards across all platforms.
• Implement authentication and authorization frameworks including OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, and SSO.
• Design disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability planning, and observability initiatives.
• Mentor engineering teams and technical leads.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, QA, DevOps, Security, and Management teams.
• Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.

What you bring

• 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Platform Architecture.
• Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise-grade products.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API Gateways, and Integration Architecture.
• Experience designing SQL and NoSQL database architectures.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of application security and secure architecture principles.

• Experience in Travel Technology, Flight Booking Systems, or OTA platforms.
• Experience with Payment Gateways, Settlement Systems, and Financial Operations.
• Experience in Crypto, Blockchain, OTC Trading, Market-Making, or Digital Asset Platforms.
• Understanding of Smart Contracts, Wallet Infrastructure, Token Standards, and Blockchain Networks.
• Experience designing DeFi, Exchange, or Liquidity platforms.
• Familiarity with Solidity, Rust, or blockchain development frameworks.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations and modern data platforms.
