Technical Manager – Blockchain & Smart Contract Systems

As a Technical Manager for Blockchain & Smart Contract Systems at Timecash Mobile Application, you lead the technology division overseeing blockchain infrastructure and smart contract development. You shape the technical strategy, manage engineering teams, and drive the full product lifecycle from architecture to post-launch stability, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance across all systems.

What you'll do

• Lead the technology division, overseeing team structure, growth, and performance
• Develop and execute technical strategy aligned with business goals, including architecture design, key technical decisions, and long-term roadmap
• Lead the development and deployment of blockchain platforms and smart contract systems, ensuring robust security protocols and compliance with industry standards such as PCI
• Oversee system architecture design, including virtualization (VMware, vSphere), cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), and network infrastructure (Cisco routers, VPNs, firewalls)
• Manage the full product lifecycle from requirements to delivery, ensuring top-tier code quality, performance, and post-launch stability
• Manage IT operations related to system administration, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity strategies across Windows Server, Linux, and Oracle databases
• Drive software development initiatives utilizing languages such as Java, C#, Python, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL; implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
• Coordinate IT project management activities using tools like Microsoft Project and Jira; lead cross-functional teams through Agile methodologies
• Oversee vendor management for hardware and software procurement and support services
• Implement information security measures including network security protocols, PCI compliance standards, vulnerability assessments, and firewall configurations
• Manage system engineering tasks involving virtualization technologies (Citrix), SAN storage solutions, PowerShell scripting, DHCP/IP configuration, IIS setup, SCCM deployment, and SolarWinds monitoring tools
• Safeguard system security and reliability, overseeing daily operations, risk assessments, and proactive prevention measures
• Provide technical support and leadership for help desk operations
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in blockchain technology, cybersecurity best practices, DevOps practices (including Docker), and IT infrastructure innovations

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of Java software development experience
• 3+ years managing engineering teams of 20+ members
• Expertise in Java and Go with strong architecture design capabilities
• Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, P2P networks, distributed storage, and consensus mechanisms
• Familiarity with Ethereum, IPFS, Filecoin, Bitcoin, Hyperledger, and OpenChain
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, encryption, distributed systems, and cloud computing
• Strong insight into trading system architecture and performance optimization
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, Java
• Experience with database management systems including SQL Server, Oracle Database, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong background in system administration across cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premises environments; familiarity with virtualization (VMware vSphere), containerization (Docker), and networking protocols (TCP/IP, WAN)
• Expertise in cybersecurity principles including network security measures like VPNs and firewalls; understanding of PCI standards and disaster recovery planning
• Skilled in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira; adept at Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin

• Proven leadership in Web3 or crypto exchange environments
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or modifications to core blockchain source code
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
