Technical Product Manager Specialist

As a Technical Product Manager at MB, you join the Banking Services squad, which builds and maintains the infrastructure and business rules that power Mercado Bitcoin's banking products (Pix, Open Finance, core-banking, cash-in/out) and enables the Digital Account and InfraPay squads. You bridge the regulatory, operational, and technical worlds, absorbing this complexity so that product managers can focus on end-user experiences. Your mission is to stay on top of regulator requirements and internal operational needs, translate them into clear technical requirements for developers, and own a dense, highly technical backlog.

What you'll do

• Monitor regulator requirements continuously (Central Bank circulars and resolutions) and internal operational needs (Operations, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, CyberSec).
• Understand, abstract, and translate these needs into clear and precise technical requirements for developers.
• Define, prioritize, track, and ensure execution of an extremely technical and dense backlog.
• Translate business implications and feed insights to the Digital Account and InfraPay product managers, so they can decide how best to incorporate requirements into customer journeys.
• Manage dependencies between squads and support areas, ensuring predictability and meeting regulatory deadlines.
• Document business rules, constraints, and technical decisions, maintaining a living knowledge base.
• Coordinate and track core-banking system updates and deployments: define the scope of changes, coordinate update activities, and align teams for testing and validation.

What you bring

• Experience as a technical Product Owner, technical Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Project Manager in fintech or regulated payment products.
• Strong ability to abstract and translate between regulatory, operational, and technical worlds.
• Comfort reading and interpreting regulatory norms (Central Bank circulars and resolutions) and converting them into actionable requirements.
• Familiarity with systems architecture, APIs, and core-banking or payment concepts such as Pix and Open Finance.
• Excellent written communication for requirements documentation and ability to coordinate across multiple areas.
• Organization and discipline to manage a dense backlog and numerous dependencies.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Pix, Open Finance, payment institutions, or PSAV (payment service providers).
• Knowledge of KYC/AML, account and sub-account structures, and reconciliation.
• Certifications in product or agile such as CSPO or PSPO, or project management such as PMP.
