Trade Operations Manager - Remote Germany/Europe (m/f/d)

You'll run the day-to-day operations of a proprietary crypto trading desk at Staking Facilities. You own the operational backbone of the trade lifecycle, ensuring every order, reconciliation, and report moves with speed and precision. You report directly to the Head of Trading, work closely with the trading and engineering teams, and turn a startup setup into operations that scale as capital under management grows.

What you'll do

• Run the full trade lifecycle day to day: order execution monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting across venues, custodians, and wallets.
• Monitor execution in real time, spot bad fills, routing problems, stale quotes, and slippage, and get them fixed fast.
• Build and maintain the operational tools and workflows that keep trading activity running smoothly.
• Own the incident runbook. When something breaks (a trading error, a venue outage, etc.), you are first responder and drive it to resolution.
• Track incidents, find root causes, and close the loop with the engineering team so the same thing does not happen twice.
• Keep the desk resilient through monitoring, alerting, and clear escalation paths.
• Improve operational processes continuously to cut errors, reduce manual work, and free traders from operational bottlenecks.
• Produce clean operational reporting and KPI tracking for the Head of Trading.
• Support coordination with exchanges, custodians, and other external operational partners.
• Monitor risk exposures and trading limits day to day, and flag breaches immediately.
• Operate the controls and reporting the desk relies on, and support the wider risk and compliance framework.

What you bring

• Experience in trading operations, trade support, middle/back office, or a related operational function in digital assets or traditional finance.
• A hands-on mindset. You build and fix things yourself and you are comfortable in a lean, non-hierarchical setup without direct reports.
• A sharp eye for detail under time pressure. Reconciliation breaks and execution anomalies do not slip past you.
• Technical fluency: comfortable with Excel and SQL, and able to read or write basic scripts to automate operational work.
• The ability to stay calm and fast under incidents. You keep a clear head when something breaks in production.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to run a process and keep the people around it informed.
