Trading | DeFi Trading Analyst | Dubai

Flowdesk is building a trading desk in Dubai focused on early-stage protocols and new trading venues. As a DeFi Trading Analyst, you sit between the technical and trading teams, owning venue and protocol onboarding, risk tooling for Morpho vault curation, and opportunity sourcing across centralised and on-chain markets. You'll be the main technical point of contact for Trading, Sales, Ops and the DeFi team, working closely with the Exchange Connectivity team to take integrations to production.

What you'll do

• Assess new trading venues and early protocols by evaluating venue APIs and protocol contracts
• Build and test first integrations, then work with the Exchange Connectivity team to take them to production; monitor venue performance after launch and flag issues
• Build and improve risk monitoring and alerting for Morpho vault curation, covering utilisation, collateral health, oracle behaviour and liquidation exposure
• Automate routine checks so the desk can react quickly to market conditions
• Track new listings, venues, yield sources and pricing gaps across centralised and on-chain markets
• Size the best ideas, outline risks and requirements, and present clear go/no-go proposals to the desk
• Own the desk's technical backlog: keep it clear, agree priorities with Trading, Sales, Ops and the DeFi team, and ensure requests are delivered

What you bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics or similar
• Strong, demonstrable Python skills, applied to opportunity sourcing, risk tooling, venue integrations and testing
• Read-level Solidity, sufficient to judge protocol and vault risk before the desk commits capital
• Hands-on experience with exchange APIs and/or DeFi protocols
• A solid understanding of crypto markets: spot, perpetuals and DeFi (AMMs, lending)
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• A real appetite for finance and trading
• Autonomy and pragmatism in your approach
• Comfort bridging technical and trading teams, translating desk needs into clear, prioritised work

Nice to have

• TypeScript, for working with early protocols that only ship TypeScript SDKs
• Read-level Rust, for reading Exchange Connectivity code and writing precise requests
