Trading Growth Lead

As Trading Growth Lead at the Solana Foundation, you own outbound relationships with the desks, exchanges, and capital that move real volume across APAC, and you drive them onto Solana. Trading is one of Solana's key use cases—covering spot, perpetuals, and prediction markets—and you work to win accounts through incentives, VIP treatment, and direct access to product teams.

What you'll do

• Own outbound to trading counterparties including prop shops, HFT firms, market makers, quant funds, OTC desks, and on-chain-native trading firms across APAC. Map who moves volume and build paths to reach them. Understand what each desk trades and what execution quality, order types, margin, collateral treatment, listings, and fees are needed to route flow on-chain. Structure the offer that wins the flow and close it onto Solana venues.
• Structure and manage counterparty relationships by negotiating terms and rebates with the Trading and DeFi teams. Relay counterparty needs to application and protocol teams (order types, margin treatment, listings, collateral support) and push to get them built or prioritized. Own the relationship post-launch with escalation, VIP support, and follow-through that grows flow rather than leaving accounts dormant.
• Secure allocators and LPs that seed and deepen Solana markets. Bring institutional and market-making capital on-chain and keep it there, tapping into APAC hubs like Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Tokyo, and extending to global flow routed through those relationships.
• Own the numbers: volume and open interest on Solana-native venues, active trading counterparties, desks and firms onboarded, allocator and LP capital brought on, and programme ROI.

What you bring

• Native fluency in Mandarin—you are credible with Greater China desks, funds, and exchanges in their own language and operate across the region's key trading hubs
• An existing book of trading relationships across APAC and a track record of moving real volume in the region
• Trading-first fluency in market microstructure, perpetuals funding and margin, spot liquidity, and how execution quality and incentives move flow
• DeFi literacy across core primitives and products on Solana and off-chain, understanding capital efficiency, leverage, lending, looping, RWA tokenization, and go-to-market processes
• A demonstrable track record of moving volume or flow at an exchange, market maker, prop shop, fund, or protocol
• Based in APAC with the ability to run the region and coordinate across EU and Americas time zones
