Web Administrator / Platform Engineer (m/f/d) - Freelance · Part-Time · Full-Time · Remote

CryptoTicker.io is an internationally focused crypto and Web3 news platform with a strong emphasis on speed, performance, and editorial quality. You'll take ownership of platform operations, performance, and technical evolution while working closely with editorial and product teams.

What you'll do

• Operate, maintain, and continuously optimize the CryptoTicker platform
• Own deployments, environments, and release processes on Vercel
• Administer and extend the CMS based on Strapi, including custom content types, APIs, and roles & permissions
• Maintain, monitor, and optimize databases using Supabase, Neon, and PostgreSQL
• Ensure performance, availability, and security across the entire stack
• Manage DNS, caching, security rules, and WAF via Cloudflare
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, including implementing long-term fixes
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability
• Support and integrate Web3-related features, APIs, and external services
• Collaborate closely with editorial and product teams on new features and technical requirements

What you bring

• Strong, hands-on experience with Next.js in production environments
• Hands-on experience with Vercel deployments and environment management
• Solid knowledge of Strapi, including custom content types, APIs, roles, and permissions
• Experience with PostgreSQL and managed database services such as Supabase or Neon
• Good understanding of modern web performance, scalability, and security concepts
• Familiarity with Cloudflare for DNS, caching, security, and WAF
• Basic to solid understanding of Web3 and blockchain technologies
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Self-driven and reliable, comfortable working in a remote-first setup

• German language skills, especially for internal communication
