Web3 Engineer

As a Web3 Engineer at Chingari, you'll design and build clean APIs and delightful frontends that interact with blockchains like Solana. You'll work closely with designers and fellow engineers to implement, test, and deploy full-stack applications that serve our Web3 community.

What you'll do

• Build backend APIs and services that power new products interacting with Solana or other blockchains
• Build front-end Web3 interfaces that interact with your backend code
• Envision and develop features to help build new applications
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and community developers to understand user needs and evolve the product from ideation through design, architecture, and process
• Gather feedback from our community on Discord and at in-person events to inform product decisions
• Produce quality work through thorough code reviews, cross-browser and device compatibility testing, and bug fixing
• Collaborate with the Design team to create responsive, modern components and optimize the app and navigation for mobile devices
• Work in an agile environment with developers, stakeholders, designers, compliance, and QA

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience building web applications with a strong track record in full-stack development using React, TypeScript, and Rust, Go, C, or C++
• Mastery of API design and the ability to build scalable RESTful services
• A commitment to system quality and a willingness to debug and fix performance issues
• Genuine passion for crypto, Web3, and NFTs with a willingness to learn

Nice to have

• Understanding of the Solana blockchain and ecosystem
• Knowledge of Web3 technologies such as NFT, DAO, DeFi, and IPFS
