As a Web3 Engineering Intern at Trace Labs, you join the core development team behind OriginTrail, working on open source networks including the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph and OriginTrail Parachain. You contribute to tangible Web3 solutions deployed across industries from life sciences and healthcare to supply chains and the metaverse, working alongside world-class partners like Parity, Acala, the British Standards Institution, DigitalOcean, Oracle, and GS1.

What you'll do

• Contribute to open source software for the OriginTrail ecosystem
• Collaborate within and across various engineering teams in an international scrum environment
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Learn and research Web3 technologies on an ongoing basis
• Engage in planning, development, and documentation activities as part of an international scrum team

What you bring

• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Experience with programming languages
• Existing projects to showcase, including student projects
• Readiness to approach learning by doing
• High English language proficiency

Nice to have

• Experience with Web3 technologies such as EVM, Substrate, or others
• Formal education (BSc, MSc) in computer science
