As a Web3 Engineering Intern at Trace Labs, you join the core development team behind OriginTrail, an open-source Web3 technology company building the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph and OriginTrail Parachain. You contribute to real-world applications of Web3 technologies across industries such as life sciences, healthcare, supply chains, and scientific research. We view interns as junior team members and many of our former interns have become permanent team members.

What you'll do

• Contribute to open-source software for the OriginTrail ecosystem
• Collaborate within and across various engineering teams
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Learn and research Web3 technologies on an ongoing basis
• Engage in planning, development, and documentation activities in an international scrum team

What you bring

• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Experience with programming languages
• Existing projects to showcase, including student projects
• Readiness to learn by doing
• High proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Experience with Web3 technologies such as EVM, Substrate, or others
• Formal education in computer science (BSc, MSc)
