As a Web3 Product Manager at Gate, you own the strategy and full lifecycle of core Web3 products at one of the world's most trusted cryptocurrency exchanges, serving over 53 million users globally. You work at the intersection of protocol mechanics, on-chain user behaviour, and a competitive landscape that moves faster than any roadmap can anticipate. In this role, you form independent directional judgements, ship products that move measurable metrics, and build a working system for translating on-chain and off-chain signals into product decisions before the market catches up.
What you'll do
- Own the strategy and full lifecycle of core Web3 products: define architecture, shape core modules, and stay accountable through launch and post-launch iteration
- Identify high-value on-chain and off-chain scenarios from both business and user perspectives, then translate complex protocol mechanics into competitive, buildable product solutions
- Lead cross-functional delivery by integrating internal and external resources, driving execution from design to launch, and verifying outcomes against the original product thesis
- Track industry trends and technological shifts with enough depth to form independent directional views and make strategic decisions without waiting for consensus
What you bring
- You have owned the full product lifecycle of a Web3 product end-to-end, from architecture definition through post-launch iteration, and can articulate the strategic bets made, what shipped, and what the data showed
- Deep working knowledge of on-chain assets, trading mechanics, and protocol design; you can abstract product logic from complex on-chain and off-chain business scenarios without needing it explained
- You have driven cross-functional projects to delivery independently, aligning engineering, business, and operations stakeholders and pushing through without needing a senior PM to clear the path
- You form independent product direction judgements: read market shifts early, spot opportunity in the noise, and commit to a forward-looking strategy before it becomes obvious
Nice to have
- Systematic knowledge of the broader Web3 ecosystem beyond a single vertical, such as DeFi, infrastructure, wallets, or emerging protocols
- Track record of making strategic product calls in fast-moving market conditions where the right answer wasn't clear at the time
