Automation Tester

As an Automation Tester at FPT Software, you design and execute test strategies for blockchain applications and DeFi protocols. You validate Solidity smart contracts, develop automated tests across APIs, UIs, wallets, and dApps, and collaborate with developers to ensure quality in CI/CD pipelines. This is a senior-level position requiring 3+ years of test automation experience.

What you'll do

• Design and execute test strategies for blockchain applications and DeFi protocols
• Validate Solidity smart contracts for functionality, edge cases, and security vulnerabilities
• Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs, UI, smart contracts, wallets, nodes, and dApps
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and transaction-level testing, including gas fees, nonce handling, and confirmations
• Validate wallet integrations, token transfers, cross-chain bridges, and on-chain and off-chain workflows
• Test DeFi features such as DEXs, staking, lending, AMMs, liquidity pools, and yield farming
• Analyze blockchain logs, events, and transaction data to identify defects
• Collaborate with developers and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release quality gates

What you bring

• 3+ years of test automation experience at middle, senior, or leadership level
• Strong expertise in test automation using Java or Python
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks
• Experience in REST and GraphQL API testing and backend validation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Solid knowledge of Ethereum, EVM, gas, transactions, and blockchain fundamentals
• Experience testing Solidity smart contracts
• Experience working with wallets such as MetaMask or WalletConnect
• Understanding of DeFi protocols, including DEXs, lending, and staking
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and security-focused testing skills
