Blockchain Developer

As a Blockchain Developer at Fruition Group, you join a growing technology team developing distributed ledger solutions for financial services and capital markets. The main focus is private and permissioned DLT, and you bring genuine experience building and deploying enterprise blockchain solutions rather than a background solely in public-chain or Web3 development. You work across permissioned DLT, smart contracts and public-chain technologies, contributing to a proprietary enterprise blockchain platform and the applications built around it.

What you'll do

• Design, build and deploy private and permissioned DLT and smart contract solutions
• Develop blockchain applications across financial services, digital assets and capital markets
• Contribute to the development of a proprietary enterprise blockchain platform, including protocol and tooling
• Integrate DLT solutions with APIs, backend services and wider platform infrastructure
• Work across technologies including Ethereum, Hedera, Algorand and enterprise DLT platforms
• Build, test and optimise secure, production-ready smart contracts
• Work closely with architects, engineers, product teams and clients to turn requirements into robust technical solutions

What you bring

• Hands-on experience with private, permissioned or enterprise DLT such as Hyperledger Fabric, Hyperledger Besu, Corda, Quorum or similar
• A strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including consensus, cryptography, tokenisation and DLT architecture
• Experience developing Solidity and Ethereum smart contracts
• Exposure to digital assets, security tokens or tokenisation
• Strong software engineering skills in one or more of Go, Java, Python or Node.js
• Experience with blockchain development tooling such as Web3.js, Ethers.js, Hardhat, Foundry or equivalent
• Ideally, experience within financial services, capital markets or fintech
