Blockchain Engineer

As a Blockchain Engineer at eClerx, you'll own and deliver features end to end for our Application Development team's technical implementation of enterprise software and its blockchain and digital-asset infrastructure. You'll bring strong full-stack engineering skills with hands-on experience integrating blockchain and Web3 technologies into enterprise systems, combined with a passion for scalable and secure design.

What you'll do

• Own the technical delivery of features and projects from design through deployment, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability
• Implement blockchain integrations, node connectivity, transaction submission, event monitoring, wallet and custody interactions, and signing and approval workflows, using enterprise-grade backend and Web3 libraries
• Write, test, and deploy smart contracts in Solidity or equivalent, following established security practices, handling the full transaction lifecycle including submission, confirmation, idempotency, and failure and reversal handling, with audit-friendly logging
• Build test automation across the full stack of the software and follow engineering best practices
• Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews
• Adhere to coding standards, architectural principles, and security best practices
• Optimize application performance and reliability in a cloud environment
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate client needs into high-impact solutions
• Partner with Product Managers and Technical Project Managers to understand scope, timelines, and priorities
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders

What you bring

• BS or BA in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with strong backend expertise in one or more languages such as Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, or Go
• Hands-on experience building on blockchain and DLT platforms such as Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger Besu, or Canton/Daml, including transaction lifecycle knowledge (gas, nonce, confirmations, finality) and event processing
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular using TypeScript and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization
• Proficiency with REST APIs and database technologies including both SQL and NoSQL
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment

What we offer

• Target base salary in the US of $130K-$190K, based on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job-related qualifications, and geography
