Chief Information Officer (PCF-49) | Crypto & Digital Assets | Hybrid

A rapidly growing crypto and digital assets business is seeking a Chief Information Officer (PCF-49) to join its executive leadership team in Ireland. The organisation is progressing through its regulatory journey to become a licensed Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) and needs an experienced technology leader to oversee ICT governance, cyber security, operational resilience and technology risk within a highly regulated environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technology strategy and governance framework of a business operating at the forefront of cryptocurrency, digital assets and payments.

What you'll do

• Lead ICT governance, cyber security and operational resilience
• Own the ICT Risk Management Framework and DORA compliance programme
• Oversee outsourced technology providers and critical third-party relationships
• Drive information security governance and incident management
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning
• Provide technology risk oversight and challenge to internal and external stakeholders
• Support regulatory engagement with the Central Bank of Ireland
• Deliver Board-level reporting on technology, resilience and cyber risk

What you bring

• Senior technology leadership experience operating in regulated environments
• Strong understanding of DORA and ICT Risk Management
• Expertise in cyber security and information security governance
• Proven experience with operational resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery
• Third-party risk and outsourcing oversight capability
• Track record managing Board and regulatory stakeholder relationships
• Experience supporting regulatory audits and reviews

Nice to have

• Experience in crypto and digital assets
• Background in cryptocurrency exchanges or digital asset custody
• Experience in fintech, payments, e-money, banking or other financial services
