Chief Information Security Officer

As Chief Information Security Officer at BVNK, you'll establish and lead the information security function in Singapore from the ground up. You join a stablecoin-powered financial stack for enterprises, now part of Mastercard, operating across 130+ countries with 40+ licenses for fiat and digital assets. You report to the Singapore CEO with a functional reporting line to the Global Chief Information Security Officer, setting security strategy locally while aligning with BVNK's global security standards.

What you'll do

• Own and lead the information security strategy and programme for BVNK's Singapore business
• Build the Singapore security function from the ground up, establishing governance, policies, standards, controls and processes required for a regulated financial services business
• Act as the senior point of accountability for information and cyber security in Singapore, providing oversight and reporting to the Singapore CEO and relevant governance forums
• Ensure BVNK's Singapore operations meet applicable MAS technology risk, cyber security and operational resilience requirements
• Establish and maintain an effective information security risk management framework, identifying, assessing, managing and escalating material security risks
• Work closely with the Global CISO and wider global Security organisation to implement BVNK's global security standards while addressing Singapore-specific requirements
• Establish and oversee core security capabilities including security monitoring, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, third-party security risk, data security and operational resilience
• Lead Singapore's security incident preparedness and response, including escalation, crisis management and regulatory engagement
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Technology teams to embed security into new products, systems and infrastructure from the outset
• Lead information security aspects of regulatory applications, examinations, audits and assessments, working with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Technology
• Establish security governance, metrics and reporting to provide Singapore leadership with visibility of security posture and key risks
• Oversee information security risks associated with third parties and critical technology service providers
• Build security awareness and accountability across the Singapore organisation
• Define the future structure, capabilities and resourcing requirements of the Singapore security function as the business grows
• Represent BVNK's Singapore security function with regulators, auditors, partners and external stakeholders

What you bring

• Senior leadership experience in information security, ideally in a regulated financial services environment
• Deep knowledge of MAS technology risk, cyber security and operational resilience requirements
• Proven ability to build security functions and programmes from the ground up
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, policies, controls and processes for regulated businesses
• Track record in information security risk management and incident response leadership
• Ability to partner effectively across technical, product and business teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills with regulators, auditors and executive leadership
