As a Member of the Board of Advisors at iPayBTC, you will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and leadership team to challenge assumptions and contribute to critical business decisions. You bring specialised expertise, strategic insight, and independent judgment to strengthen the company's capabilities, accelerate growth, and support its mission of building a secure and scalable digital finance payment platform for individuals and businesses using Bitcoin.

iPayBTC is seeking accomplished professionals across the following specialist areas. You may apply for one or multiple advisory roles depending on your expertise.

Engineering, Technology & Architecture Advisor

You are a senior technology leader, software architect, engineering executive, or fintech systems expert with experience building secure, scalable, high-availability financial platforms.

What you'll do

• Guide the long-term technical vision and product scalability by advising on platform architecture and technology strategy
• Advise on the design of scalable payment and digital asset infrastructure
• Support engineering best practices, software quality, and delivery processes
• Guide architecture decisions relating to integrations, APIs, security, and data management
• Advise on infrastructure scalability, cloud strategy, and technical governance
• Support the development of engineering talent, culture, and execution discipline
• Challenge technology roadmaps to ensure alignment with business objectives and growth targets
• Help the company balance speed of innovation with security, reliability, and operational excellence

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience with Bitcoin/crypto payment systems and fintech infrastructure
• Proven expertise in enterprise software architecture
• Experience with cloud-native platforms and distributed systems
• Background in engineering leadership and organisational scaling
• Knowledge of API ecosystems and platform integration

Finance, Audit & Controls Advisor

You are an experienced finance leader with a strong background in fintech, virtual assets, banking, payment systems, audit, and financial governance.

What you'll do

• Strengthen iPayBTC's financial foundations by reviewing financial planning, budgeting, and cash management frameworks
• Advise on treasury and digital-asset management and capital allocation
• Assess unit economics and business sustainability
• Support the development of financial controls and reporting standards
• Guide management on audit preparedness and investor-grade financial reporting
• Advise on investor readiness and financial governance
• Provide independent oversight on financial risks and performance assumptions

What you bring

• At least 5 years of fintech or financial services leadership, or financial management in the crypto ecosystem
• Audit, accounting, or CFO-level experience
• Treasury and cash-flow management expertise
• Fundraising readiness and financial governance experience

Security & Risk Advisor

You are a cybersecurity, payments security, or enterprise risk professional with experience securing digital assets, fintech, or payment infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Support iPayBTC in building a resilient and trusted platform by reviewing security architecture and technology risk frameworks
• Evaluate cybersecurity controls, policies, and incident response readiness
• Advise on payment-security standards and best practices
• Advise on security posture and remediation strategies
• Advise on Bitcoin, digital-asset and wallet security
• Advise on business continuity and disaster recovery
• Guide enterprise risk management processes and operational resilience
• Provide strategic oversight on emerging security threats and technology risks

What you bring

• At least 5 years of cybersecurity leadership in crypto payment infrastructure
• Security architecture and governance experience in fintech and crypto
• Payment security and fraud prevention expertise
• Risk management experience within the fintech and crypto ecosystem

Compliance & Regulatory Advisor

You are a regulatory, legal, compliance, or anti-money laundering professional with experience in fintech, financial services, digital assets, or cross-border payment ecosystems.

What you'll do

• Help ensure iPayBTC develops responsibly and within applicable regulatory frameworks by advising on regulatory strategy and licensing
• Support AML/CFT programme development and implementation
• Advise on compliance governance and risk management
• Guide regulatory engagement and submissions
• Advise on data protection and privacy requirements
• Support management in establishing a robust compliance culture

What you bring

• At least 5 years of financial services regulation experience
• Digital asset and virtual asset compliance expertise
• AML/CFT programme management experience
• Knowledge of risk-based regulatory frameworks and governance

Growth & Commercial Advisor

You are a commercial leader with demonstrated success in fintech growth, customer retention, pricing strategies, and market expansion.

What you'll do

• Help accelerate commercial growth by reviewing go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives
• Advise on customer acquisition, activation and retention
• Advise on revenue growth and commercial economics
• Advise on market expansion and commercial development
• Advise on distribution and strategic partnerships
• Assist with strategic partnerships and business development opportunities
• Provide insights into expansion across African and emerging markets

What you bring

• At least 5 years of fintech or digital assets business growth experience
• Revenue optimization and customer acquisition expertise
• Commercial strategy and distribution background
• Market expansion and strategic partnerships experience
• Fundraising experience is an advantage

What we offer

• Equity-based compensation structured according to your relevant expertise and experience, level of involvement and time commitment, strategic value and practical contribution, and achievement of mutually agreed objectives and milestones
• A 90-day mutual evaluation period to assess alignment, commitment and the practical value of the advisory relationship before an ongoing arrangement is agreed
• Specific equity allocations, vesting schedules, performance expectations and other engagement terms to be discussed individually and documented in a formal Advisory Agreement
