Compliance Senior Manager

As a Compliance Senior Manager at BVNK, you oversee regulatory compliance for our UK Electronic Money Institution. Sitting within the 2nd line of defence, you maintain the compliance monitoring framework, firm-wide policies, safeguarding and conduct rules, and financial promotions review. Your primary focus is the UK, and as part of a global team, you support other regions and company-wide compliance initiatives.

What you'll do

• Operationalise and maintain the firm's compliance policies and procedures in alignment with FCA regulations including SYSC, SUP, CASS/Safeguarding, DISP, and Consumer Duty
• Track evolving UK regulatory developments and horizon-scan for emerging compliance requirements
• Prepare regulatory compliance reporting packs, KPIs, and monitoring outcomes for the Head of Compliance, Executive Risk Committees, and Board of Directors
• Assist with FCA regulatory notifications and periodic regulatory returns
• Collaborate with IT and Operations to ensure compliance with operational resilience frameworks, business continuity plans, and third-party outsourcing requirements
• Monitor product design, customer journeys, price and value assessments, and customer support channels to ensure alignment with FCA Consumer Duty outcomes
• Serve as the designated compliance approver for all marketing materials, advertising campaigns, website content, and social media promotions targeting UK retail customers
• Oversee 2nd line review of customer complaints handling processes, ensuring compliance with DISP rules and root-cause analysis reporting
• Act as the primary regulatory compliance subject matter expert for product, engineering, and commercial teams launching new payment features, APIs, stablecoin capabilities, or digital asset services in the UK
• Support any future application for the UK's new cryptoasset regulatory regime

What you bring

• Relevant experience in a similar compliance role within financial services, preferably in a fintech or crypto firm
• A bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• At least one recognised professional compliance qualification, such as ICA
