Crypto & Digital Assets Compliance Officer

As a Crypto & Digital Assets Compliance Officer at Boursorama, you join the Risk and Compliance department as the expert in regulatory compliance for crypto-asset activities. Based in Boulogne-Billancourt, you monitor regulatory developments, lead compliance projects aligned with relevant regulations, analyze risks, and provide expert advice to operational teams and leadership. You design and develop rules and procedures to ensure the organization meets all applicable obligations, and oversee non-compliance controls in this area.

What you'll do

• Advise operational teams on compliance with crypto-asset regulations and internal rules, and deliver formal compliance opinions on projects including feature updates and new processes
• Prepare compliance analysis for new product committees, assessing risks, launch conditions, information requirements, and necessary controls
• Contribute to internal coordination on audit findings and track remediation commitments
• Design, maintain, and oversee the non-compliance risk mapping specific to crypto-asset services
• Draft and update compliance policies and procedures covering crypto-asset aspects, including MiCA requirements and internal frameworks
• Contribute to the compliance control plan (second-level controls) to verify operations align with regulatory obligations, and participate in executing these controls as needed
• Ensure compliance with transparency, client information, and fair treatment requirements under crypto-asset regulations
• Verify digital customer journeys for proper disclosure of risks, fees, execution details, and related information
• Contribute to market abuse prevention and detection systems, including transaction and order monitoring
• Help define surveillance scenarios and process alerts in coordination with other Compliance Officers covering securities and investment services
• Monitor regulatory developments in crypto-assets and assess their impact on Boursobank's processes
• Adapt the crypto-asset service offering to ensure compliance with current regulations, notably MiCA, and address emerging risks
• Work with the AML team to align AML/CFT systems with crypto-asset specificities
• Contribute to compliance reporting for internal and regulatory audiences
• Support training for operational teams
• Assist with internal and external audits and track follow-up actions and recommendations

What you bring

• A degree in financial law, compliance, or finance (Bac+4/5 or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of regulatory compliance experience in banking, investment firms, fintech, crypto service providers, custodians, or advisory firms, with a focus on digital assets or strong interest in the crypto and blockchain ecosystem
• Thorough knowledge of MiCA requirements and operational understanding of crypto services
• Solid knowledge of client protection, market abuse prevention, and AML/CFT frameworks as applied to crypto-assets
• Comfort with technical environments, including understanding of crypto workflows (wallets, keys, custody, matching and execution), APIs, outsourcing, and blockchain infrastructure
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with ability to work in project mode
• Autonomy, a business partner mindset, rigor, and organized approach
• Fluent English
