Head of Crypto

As Head of Crypto at Satispay, you will lead a brand new, core pillar of the company's expansion into cryptocurrency and Web3. You take ownership of an existing high-potential crypto strategy, execute it flawlessly, adapt it as the market demands, and expand it wherever possible. You work with a high degree of autonomy and have direct, frequent touchpoints with the founding team to align on execution, team scaling, and long-term vision.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of the existing crypto roadmap, drive its execution to deliver immediate impact, and continuously evaluate the market to make necessary adjustments and expand offerings when new opportunities arise
• Partner directly with founders and C-level executives to ensure the crypto rollout aligns with the company's mission to simplify everyday finance
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of crypto products, from infrastructure setup and go-to-market strategy to launch and continuous optimization
• Work in lockstep with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all products align with evolving European regulations such as MiCA and safeguarding standards
• Identify and establish crucial relationships with key players in the crypto ecosystem, including exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers, and blockchain networks
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams, collaborate closely with peers with structured communication and transparency, demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ownership

What you bring

• 7+ years of experience in crypto and Web3 initiatives at a regulated Fintech, exchange, or crypto-native company
• Proven ability to take a high-level strategy and turn it into shipped products, scaling operations effectively from the ground up
• Deep, technical understanding of blockchain architecture, crypto market dynamics, digital wallets, custody solutions, and Web3 infrastructure
• Solid knowledge of the European crypto regulatory landscape, including MiCA and AML/KYC for digital assets, and a history of launching products within a strict compliance framework
• Excellent ability to align internal and external stakeholders and translate complex crypto concepts into clear, actionable business updates for the founding team
• Complete fluency in English
