DevOps Engineer (Azure)

As a DevOps Engineer at Ideasoft, you'll help run and scale the platform behind a broad blockchain ecosystem including an L2 network, wallet infrastructure, multiple stablecoin products, and supporting services. The work spans platform engineering, reliability, and operations: you'll build high-availability services, manage on-chain integrations, secure production environments, and grow infrastructure alongside the products it supports.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for diverse technology stacks including microservices, monoliths, and serverless architectures using GitLab, GitHub CI, or Argo CD
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code modules with Terraform for reproducible environments
• Oversee container orchestration with Kubernetes, including cluster provisioning on AKS, Helm charts, and Operators
• Define and enforce network, storage, and compute configurations to meet scalability and high-availability requirements
• Evaluate, select, and integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
• Continuously evaluate new tools, platforms, and best practices to improve delivery speed, reliability, and security
• Participate in planning and implementing new approaches and tools
• Propose best practices for peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning
• Support multiple project teams in an ad-hoc manner

What you bring

• 4+ years of professional DevOps or infrastructure experience, including leadership or mentorship roles
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider, with Azure preferred, and familiarity with others
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform
• Production-grade Kubernetes experience including cluster provisioning (AKS preferred), Helm charts, and Operators
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub CI, Argo CD, or similar tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and custom tooling
• Knowledge of secrets management using HashiCorp Vault or Azure Key Vault
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, CDN integration, and network security concepts
• Experience designing storage strategies, backup and restore procedures, and Disaster Recovery planning
• Ability to intervene in operational matters and assist the team directly when necessary
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders
• High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
• Capability to identify risks early, communicate options clearly, and drive timely mitigation
• Reliability for meetings, handoffs, and releases
• English at Upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with enclaves and secure environments such as SGX or Nitro Enclaves
• Strong consultative skills: ability to translate client business goals into technical requirements and actionable roadmaps
• Comfort working with multiple concurrent client projects, balancing competing priorities, and triaging incidents
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presenting technical solutions and leading status meetings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Passion for upskilling team members through workshops on new tools or sharing best practices for secure coding and infrastructure hardening
• Understanding of blockchain-related terms and concepts such as rollups, smart contracts, and consensus mechanisms
• Hands-on experience with Web3 and blockchain projects and related infrastructure
