DevOps Engineer (Mid-level)

As a mid-level DevOps Engineer at CryptoBLK, you design and implement systems and solutions to meet market and client needs in blockchain technology. You work across cloud environments like AWS and Azure, automate operations, and contribute to system architecture design for a Hong Kong-based fintech company specialising in blockchain solutions for trade finance, supply chain, insurance, CBDC, and payments.

What you'll do

• Design and implement new systems and solutions to meet market and client needs
• Bring innovative solutions to development process improvement
• Automate and streamline operations and processes
• Develop on cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
• Contribute to system architecture design

What you bring

• A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on experience with Bash scripting and Python
• Hands-on experience with Java and equivalent object-oriented programming languages
• 1+ year of professional experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery
• 1+ year of professional experience with Dependency Management tools such as Maven and Gradle
• 1+ year of professional experience with Git Version Control
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, DNS, load balancing, and CDNs
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Puppet
• Experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
• Experience with Cloud Service Providers including AWS and Azure
• Experience with Agile software development methodology
• A passion for new technology, motivation, and a fast-learning mindset
• Strong communication skills with both business and technical audiences

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Chef
• Experience with continuous monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Nagios, and Splunk
• Experience with Kibana, CloudWatch, and Elasticsearch
