Most operations roles in crypto pay between $86k and $251k, with a median of $156k.

As a DevOps Site Reliability Engineer for Digital Assets at Euronext, you will be embedded in one of our product teams building a regulated platform for tokenising bonds. You own the infrastructure, deployment pipeline and production reliability of your team's product, including the distributed-ledger infrastructure, signing infrastructure and settlement integrations. Alongside SREs in other product teams, you will shape shared standards for tooling, observability, incident processes and security baselines so each team can ship independently while the platform runs as one financial market infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Build and ship infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and zero-downtime deployment for your team's services, plus a smart-contract release pipeline with reproducible builds, verification that deployed code matches what was audited, upgrades gated by multi-signature or four-eyes approval, and environment promotion.
  • Run the ledger by assessing operability options for the DLT platform and its hosting model (which platform, and whether you operate nodes yourselves or use node-as-a-service), then own whichever is chosen. This includes provisioning, upgrades, membership changes and peering with other participants without downtime, or holding providers to their SLAs and keeping connectivity reliable via redundant nodes or RPC providers, fee monitoring and finality alerting.
  • Secure signing by running the integration with the MPC custody platform and HSMs, ensuring highly available signing, no keys in CI, key ceremonies and break-glass procedures.
  • Observe and reconcile with ledger-aware observability (node and network health, transaction throughput and failures, on-chain/off-chain lag), SLOs and error budgets, and daily reconciliation of on-ledger positions against the legal register.
  • Operate a market by treating bond lifecycle events (coupon payments, redemption at maturity, corporate actions) as scheduled critical events with pre-flight checks and change freezes aligned with settlement windows and TARGET closing days. Write and maintain runbooks, including token-specific ones for pausing a contract, freezing a holder on a sanctions or regulator instruction, ledger halt and incidents on the bridge or settlement leg.
  • Meet the regulatory bar alongside the security lead and peer SREs by hardening infrastructure and meeting regulatory operating requirements including DORA (incident reporting, resilience testing, third-party risk for node and RPC providers, custodian and cloud), the DLT Pilot Regime, backup and recovery of ledger state with defined RTO/RPO, EU data residency and tamper-evident audit logs.

What you bring

  • Infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform, containers/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Production observability and incident-response experience with SLO/error-budget practice.
  • Experience securing and auditing infrastructure for regulated or sensitive workloads, including network segmentation for exposed services.
  • Ability to work inside a product team while agreeing shared standards with peers in other teams.
  • Calm under pressure with clear runbooks and strong ownership.
  • Required AI engineering skill: use AI-assisted infrastructure-as-code and pipeline authoring, with review before apply.

Nice to have

  • Experience running, or running production services on, one or two popular blockchains, public or permissioned such as Ethereum clients, Hyperledger Besu or Canton.
  • Familiarity with MPC or HSM signing infrastructure.
  • Software supply-chain security expertise including signed images, SBOMs and SLSA.
  • Operating bridges between chains, or between a chain and off-chain systems including relayers, reconciliation and incident response.
  • Experience in regulated market infrastructure such as CSD, clearing or payments, or knowledge of DORA or the DLT Pilot Regime.
  • AIOps with anomaly detection on metrics/logs and AI-assisted alert triage.
  • AI-assisted incident summarisation and post-mortem drafting.
  • Deploying, monitoring and reliably operating in-product AI/ML services including rollback.
