Founding Product Manager, Agentic Commerce

As Founding Product Manager for Agentic Commerce at Mesh, you will pioneer how AI agents interact with payments and money movement. There is no product yet-your job is to figure out what agents buying, selling, and moving money actually looks like. You will build with emerging protocols, embed in the community, run experiments on live payment rails, and work directly with our SVP of Product to turn what you learn into where Mesh bets next.

What you'll do

• Be the center of gravity for agentic commerce at Mesh. Own the expertise on what is real, what is hype, what we test, and what we ignore. Every question about agents and money movement routes to you.
• Become the expert the company does not have yet. Master the protocols, standards bodies, model capabilities, startups, and failures in this space. When customers ask "what is Mesh's agent story?", you provide the answer.
• Build proof hands-on. Write code, wire up protocols, and run experiments that result in working agents completing real transactions on live rails. Recruit customers from our existing base when experiments need them.
• Represent Mesh at the frontier. Participate in protocol working groups, hackathons, and standards-setting discussions so Mesh becomes a recognized name in agentic commerce before shipping a product there.
• Make the case for what Mesh builds first. When a hypothesis survives testing, write the case, size the bet, and defend it with the SVP of Product. The strength of your evidence determines the speed of the company.

What you bring

• Experience building something real without being told what to build: a very early startup, a side project strangers actually used, an agent that can buy or book or trade, or something equivalent where you learned something most people do not know.
• The ability to take an idea to a working prototype yourself using code, APIs, and AI tools. You do not wait for permission or resources to start.
• Strong opinions, loosely held. You form positions before you have full information and change them when evidence turns. You can describe a conviction you held, what killed it, and what you did next.
• Genuine curiosity about how money moves. Crypto or payments experience is a plus, not a requirement.
