Fullstack Web3 Engineer

As a Fullstack Web3 Engineer at Marketnode, you design, build and maintain features for a tokenisation platform serving Asia-Pacific's digital market infrastructure. You work at the intersection of technology and financial markets, collaborating with Product, Engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver key initiatives across both frontend and backend systems.

What you'll do

• Design, build and maintain features for the tokenisation platform using TypeScript
• Build responsive and scalable frontend applications using React and Next.js
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express/Next.js
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions as the platform evolves
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and other teams to shape solutions and deliver key initiatives
• Collaborate on product development from initial ideas through to implementation and delivery
• Continually improve the developer experience, code quality and engineering processes across codebases
• Build and maintain a strong culture of testing, documentation and engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot technical challenges, identify practical solutions and follow through to completion
• Share knowledge, contribute ideas and help the wider engineering team grow
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across different functions and locations

What you bring

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering or a closely related role
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React and Node.js
• Experience with Express and/or Next.js
• Experience working with blockchain and EVM-compatible networks
• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and/or Azure
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
• A good understanding of software architecture and a practical approach to solving technical problems
• Strong focus on code quality, testing and documentation
• You take ownership and are comfortable driving work from idea through to delivery
• You are comfortable working independently while knowing when to ask questions or seek support
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can evolve
• Experience in financial services, fintech, digital assets, blockchain or digital market infrastructure would be an advantage
