Head of Crypto

As Head of Crypto at Satispay, you will drive the expansion of a brand new, core pillar into the cryptocurrency and Web3 space. You own an existing high-potential crypto strategy and will execute it flawlessly, adapt it when necessary, and expand it wherever possible. You work with high autonomy and have direct, frequent touchpoints with the founding team to align on execution, team scaling, and long-term vision.

What you'll do

• Hire and build a dedicated, high-performing cross-functional team from the ground up to bring Satispay's crypto vertical to life
• Take ownership of the existing crypto roadmap, drive its execution to deliver immediate impact, and continuously evaluate the market to make necessary adjustments and expand offerings
• Partner directly with founders and C-level executives to ensure the crypto rollout aligns with the company's mission to simplify everyday finance
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of crypto products, from infrastructure setup and go-to-market strategy to launch and continuous optimization
• Work with the Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all products align with evolving European regulations such as MiCA and safeguarding standards
• Identify and establish relationships with key players in the crypto ecosystem, including exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers, and blockchain networks
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams, collaborating closely with peers through structured communication and transparency

What you bring

• 7+ years of experience in crypto/Web3 initiatives at a regulated Fintech, exchange, or crypto-native company
• Proven experience hiring, managing, and scaling specialized, high-performing teams in a fast-paced tech or financial environment
• Demonstrated ability to take a high-level strategy and turn it into shipped products, scaling operations from the ground up
• Deep, technical understanding of blockchain architecture, crypto market dynamics, digital wallets, custody solutions, and Web3 infrastructure
• Solid knowledge of the European crypto regulatory landscape, such as MiCA and AML/KYC for digital assets, and a track record launching products within a strict compliance framework
• Ability to balance bold expansion with stringent risk management
• Excellent ability to align internal and external stakeholders, translating complex crypto concepts into clear, actionable business updates for leadership
• Complete fluency in English
