Head of Platform Product

As Head of Platform Product at Bybit, you lead the Platform Product organization and shape product strategy for the CTO-line platform portfolio at a pivotal moment. You report directly to the CTO and manage a 15+ person team spanning compliance, payments, assets, CRM, personalization, and AI product lines. This role drives Bybit's transition from a high-growth crypto-native platform to a regulated, AI-native financial institution.

What you'll do

• Directly manage and develop the Platform Product Group across compliance site building, payments and assets, CRM, user/security/reach, personalization, and AI product lines
• Drive team health, OKR quality, and delivery rigor across 10+ sub-teams and 200+ active requirements
• Build a high-performance product culture by elevating product thinking from requirement-taking to systems-level ownership and enforcing outcome-based OKRs over go-live checklists
• Recruit, develop, and retain senior product talent while proactively managing succession and capability gaps
• Own the product vision and roadmap for AI Platform (OpenClaw, AI Gateway, AI Sub-Account, Skills Marketplace, AI Coding infrastructure), Financial Cloud and Compliance Infrastructure (self-service compliance platform, multi-jurisdiction site building, regulatory data export), Developer Experience and Internal Tooling (BDOT, CI/CD product layer, AI-native R&D workflow), and Data and Intelligence Platform (knowledge distillation, MCP integration, personalization engine)
• Translate CTO-level technical strategy into concrete product roadmaps with measurable business outcomes
• Lead the platform product team's transition to AI-native product development with 100% AI documentation coverage, AI-assisted requirement analysis, and measurable AI efficiency gains
• Define and drive the killing feature strategy for the AI agent platform to identify the user acquisition hook that converts infrastructure investment into real user growth
• Own the product strategy for intelligent customer service evolution from reactive article-linking to proactive, fully automated resolution with a target >80% resolution rate

What you bring

• 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior product leadership role managing multi-team product organizations of 20+ PMs
• Proven track record building and shipping platform and infrastructure products, not just consumer-facing features; experience with developer platforms, internal tooling, or B2B SaaS
• Strong systems thinking: ability to define product architecture, module catalogs, and API contracts, not just user stories
• Experience operating in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment such as fintech, banking, crypto, or equivalent; understanding of how regulatory requirements translate into product constraints and opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to drive OKR quality by moving teams from go-live metrics to outcome-based measurement
• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) for internal communication with engineering teams and business stakeholders

Strongly preferred

• Experience with AI product strategy such as agent platforms, LLM-powered products, or AI infrastructure products
• Background in financial services technology or crypto and Web3
• Experience managing product teams through organizational restructuring or rapid scaling
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction compliance product challenges including KYC/KYB, AML, regulatory data reporting, and multi-site architecture
• Track record of defining and launching platform killing features, not just maintaining existing product lines
• End-to-end ownership mindset that bridges customer pain points, product design, system architecture, data governance, compliance, and business outcomes
• Prioritization discipline to narrow scope to the top 5 problems and communicate a clear, credible plan
• Honest communication that acknowledges unknowns directly and gives specific, actionable feedback to senior engineers and PMs
• Builder orientation: you create genuine new product value rather than absorbing accountability for all cross-team AI products without authority
