Investigation Analyst, Geofencing (12 months contract)

As an Investigation Analyst on Binance's Screening Escalations & Geofencing team, you'll investigate suspicious access activity and evaluate risk alerts to protect our platform and strengthen risk controls. This is a 12-month contract role, fully remote, working with colleagues across regions and time zones.

What you'll do

• Investigate geofencing alerts and abnormal login behavior to uncover potential risks
• Analyze case details, IP data, and account activity to determine risk levels
• Review cases, send Requests for Information (RFIs), and follow up with users as needed
• Make well-supported block/unblock decisions in line with internal SOPs
• Record findings clearly, escalate complex cases, and consistently meet SLA targets

What you bring

• At least 2 years of experience in investigations, fraud prevention, financial crime, compliance, or risk operations
• A sharp analytical mindset, investigative instincts, and strong attention to detail
• Sound judgment and the ability to piece together cases from multiple data sources
• Fluency in English to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders
• Comfort handling high case volumes in a fast-moving environment

Nice to have

• Exposure to fintech, e-commerce, banking, payments, or digital assets
• Familiarity with IP analysis, geolocation, or detecting suspicious account behavior
• Hands-on experience with case management or investigation tools
