Junior Quantitative Trader | Crypto Options

As a Junior Quantitative Trader at BlockTech, you'll join the options trading team in Amsterdam and help run and improve the systems that trade the firm's capital. You'll work with crypto derivatives and spot markets across global venues, 24/7, with end-to-end ownership of the systems you operate.

What you'll do

• Run the automated trading systems, monitor dashboards, and operate in live markets
• Tune pricing and adjust parameters as market behavior shifts
• Manage positions and the risk that comes with them
• Develop and deploy new strategies together with quantitative researchers and engineers
• Research new business opportunities and stay on top of market news and changes

What you bring

• A strong academic background in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, statistics, or computer science
• Proficiency in Python
• Focus and composure when markets get busy
• A strong sense of ownership and excellent collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Professional trading experience at a high-frequency trading firm
