Lead Backend Development Engineer

As a Lead Backend Development Engineer at Bybit, you design and optimize the MasterCard and VISA card issuance business system, working to improve system performance, development efficiency, and ensure high availability, maintainability, and scalability. You drive rapid business development through continuous technological research and innovation while building stability into core card application and transaction reconciliation systems.

What you'll do

• Participate in the design and optimization of the MasterCard and VISA card issuance business system to improve system performance and development efficiency, ensuring high availability, maintainability, and scalability
• Design and implement multiple subsystems in card issuance business, including card application, card management, and reconciliation, ensuring clear module boundaries for easy expansion to support rapid business growth
• Drive rapid business development and efficient iteration through continuous technological research and innovation
• Lead stability construction efforts, ensuring high stability of card application and card management systems, and guaranteeing the performance and accuracy of card transaction reconciliation

What you bring

• 3-5 years of work experience and a bachelor's degree or above in computer software or a related field
• Solid foundation in Java programming, mastery of common design patterns, and multithreading programming; familiarity with common Java open-source frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Mybatis
• Understanding of computer principles with a good foundation in data structures and algorithms
• Practical experience developing highly available applications based on databases, caches, message middleware, and microservices
• Proficiency with databases such as MySQL and Oracle, with some SQL tuning abilities
• Capability to analyze and design general system modules
• A passion for technology with meticulous and rigorous work habits and strict requirements for system quality
• Strong communication skills, adept at cross-team and cross-cultural collaboration, proficient in English, Mandarin, or Cantonese
