Lead Site Reliability Engineer (Remote)

As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Propine, you will work closely with the Engineering and Security teams to build the infrastructure that keeps our solution running smoothly and highly available. This role reports directly to the CTO, and you will operate in an exciting growth phase as we re-invent capital markets using blockchain technology.

What you'll do

• Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Take ownership of the setup and maintenance of the CI/CD pipeline
• Assist and train team members in the use of infrastructure tools and the resolution of infrastructure issues
• Develop and deploy automated solutions to secure cloud development and delivery processes
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructural systems and procedures
• Monitor infrastructure issues daily
• Participate in an on-call rotation for 24x7 support of infrastructure issues

What you bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure management
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills
• The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and sharp analytical abilities with proven design skills
• Experience with modern web technologies and the AWS stack
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and security challenges
• Experience with SAST/DAST tools
• Experience in process and tools for Container Security, Image Security, and Code Security
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Serverless tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and AWS Lambda
• Proficiency in coding languages like Python and Node.js
• A demonstrable understanding of modern architectural patterns such as containerization, microservices, and API gateways
• Good knowledge of operational best practices
