Middle Fullstack (JS+BLOCKCHAIN)

GEM is hiring a Middle Fullstack Engineer to build scalable and reliable blockchain products. You will join a team where you design and maintain both backend services and frontend applications, working across APIs, databases, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate has strong engineering fundamentals in backend and frontend development, with the ability to adapt across technology stacks.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Develop and enhance frontend applications and internal platforms
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and distributed services
• Work with microservices and containerised architectures
• Troubleshoot complex application and production issues
• Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering standards
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and DevOps teams
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, deployment and production support

What you bring

• Strong professional Software Engineering experience
• Strong backend development experience with Java, Go, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or equivalent
• Good understanding of API design, databases, distributed systems, and software architecture
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and production-grade APIs
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn and understand unfamiliar systems and technologies
• Strong ownership mindset and good communication skills
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Nice to have

• JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js/NestJS
• React/Next.js or other modern frontend frameworks
• Docker/Kubernetes
• AWS/Azure
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
