Node js developer

As a Node.js Backend Engineer at SunCrypto, you'll build and scale high-performance systems for our cryptocurrency exchange platform. You'll work on trading APIs, order management, wallets, transactions, real-time data, and blockchain integrations.

What you'll do

• Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build REST APIs, WebSockets, and microservices
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and Redpanda for event-driven systems
• Develop high-throughput trading, order, balance, and transaction workflows
• Integrate blockchain, exchange, and third-party APIs
• Optimize performance, database queries, API latency, and system reliability
• Implement secure, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with DevOps, QA, frontend, product, and security teams

What you bring

• 4-6 years of professional Node.js backend experience
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL, Redis, Kafka, WebSockets, and microservices
• Knowledge of system design, caching, queues, concurrency, security, and distributed systems
• Good understanding of Git, CI/CD, and Docker; AWS knowledge preferred
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, system-design, and communication skills with a focus on performance, security, reliability, and scalability

Nice to have

• Experience in crypto, blockchain, fintech, payments, banking, or trading platforms
• Knowledge of exchange APIs, wallet integrations, order lifecycle, and financial transaction systems
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and observability
