Onboarding Analyst

As an Onboarding Analyst at BitGo, you review account openings, conduct due diligence checks, and advise business functions for our MAS-regulated entity in Singapore. Your main objective is to ensure compliance with internal policies and AML/KYC requirements while identifying opportunities to improve the onboarding process and mitigate compliance risks. You will be based in our Bangalore office, supporting APAC onboarding requirements and reporting to the Singapore Onboarding Manager.

What you'll do

• Conduct client due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (ECDD) in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• Conduct periodic reviews based on KYC/KYB CDD guidelines, ensuring timely updates and escalations where required
• Provide high-quality customer service by owning, monitoring, and improving customer service interactions, handling customer inquiries, and managing communications throughout the entire onboarding process
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer onboarding and account administration
• Participate in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other subjects relevant to your daily work requirements
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by your supervisor

What you bring

• Minimum 3-10 years of experience in a relevant compliance, onboarding, or due diligence role, preferably within fintech or crypto
• A bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Nice to have

• Relevant compliance professional certifications, especially specialist certificates in crypto and digital assets
• A good understanding of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) PSN02 Guidelines, Notice, and related laws, directives, regulations, and compliance standards
