OTC Derivatives Trader

As an OTC Crypto Derivatives Sales Trader at Blockchain, you support a 24/7 over-the-counter cryptocurrency options flow operation. You price and structure bespoke options solutions for institutional and high-net-worth clients, drive new business across global time zones, and shape product development through market insights and client feedback.

What you'll do

• Provide pricing and liquidity on OTC and exchange RFQs using discretionary judgment based on market conditions and client goals
• Structure and price bespoke options solutions tailored to client hedging, yield, and directional objectives
• Produce client pitches, trade ideas, and sales material backed by quantitative analysis, turning market and regulatory developments into actionable insights
• Drive new business, grow the client base, and deepen existing institutional relationships to increase revenue generation
• Share market color and client feedback with internal teams to shape product development and pricing strategy
• Support and grow the 24/7 options flow operation with teams based in Singapore, the UK, and the US, providing consistent service across multiple time zones
• Work with Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Onboarding to ensure smooth client onboarding, accurate trade booking and settlement, and adherence to internal policies and regulations

What you bring

• Proven experience as an options trader or sales-trader, ideally structuring and selling options strategies to institutional and high-net-worth clients
• A solid broker-dealer background and comfort trading on a discretionary basis
• A proven revenue track record and an established network of institutional clients
• Exceptional understanding of derivatives pricing, portfolio, and risk management
• Strong quantitative analysis and data manipulation skills to analyze market data and build client pitches and sales material
• Deep understanding of digital assets and crypto derivatives venues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach and the ability to perform under pressure, make quick decisions, and handle high volumes of transactions
• Comfort working flexible hours in coordination with global teams
