OTC Derivatives Trader

As an OTC Crypto Derivatives Sales Trader at Blockchain.com, you join a 24-7 over-the-counter cryptocurrency options flow operation supporting millions of users globally. You provide pricing and liquidity on complex derivatives, structure bespoke options solutions for institutional clients, and drive revenue growth across our distributed trading teams in Singapore, the UK, and the US.

What you'll do

• Provide pricing and liquidity on OTC and exchange RFQs, using discretionary judgement based on market conditions and client goals
• Structure and price bespoke options solutions tailored to client hedging, yield, and directional objectives
• Produce client pitches, trade ideas, and sales material backed by quantitative analysis, turning market and regulatory developments into actionable insights
• Drive new business, grow the client base, and deepen existing institutional relationships to increase revenue generation
• Share market color and client feedback with internal teams to shape product development and pricing strategy
• Support and grow a 24-7 options flow operation with teams based in Singapore, the UK, and the US, providing consistent service and optimal trading conditions for clients across multiple time zones
• Work with Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Onboarding to ensure smooth client onboarding, accurate trade booking and settlement, and adherence to internal policies and applicable regulations

What you bring

• Proven experience as an options trader or sales-trader, ideally structuring and selling options strategies to institutional and high-net-worth clients
• A solid broker-dealer background, comfortable trading on a discretionary basis
• A proven revenue track record and an established network of institutional clients
• Exceptional understanding of derivatives pricing, portfolio, and risk management
• Strong quantitative analysis and data manipulation skills to analyze market data and build client pitches, trade ideas, and sales material
• A deep understanding of digital assets and crypto derivatives venues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to perform under pressure, make quick decisions, and handle high volumes of transactions
• Comfort working flexible hours in coordination with global teams
