Product Designer

As a Product Designer at Ethereum Community Fund, you join a community-driven public goods project building an interface that connects users to decentralised, open-sourced and autonomous applications. You'll work with a competent and inclusive team across different time zones, collaborating on Web3 development projects and contributing to discourse amongst domain experts in privacy, cryptography, decentralised networking, governance, and social coordination.

What you'll do

• Design applications with a focus on user experience and visual implementation
• Build and manage component libraries in Figma, using auto-layout and properties
• Create clear design specs with annotations for developers and provide thoughtful hand-off documentation
• Prototype rapidly using Figma prototyping or Framer to communicate designs quickly to the team
• Collaborate closely with developers to find front-end solutions and ensure clear communication throughout the design and development process
• Participate in ongoing discussions with domain experts across privacy, cryptography, decentralised networking, and governance to shape the best products for the community

What you bring

• Solid proficiency with Figma or equivalent design tools
• Experience building and maintaining component libraries
• Ability to create clear design specs with annotations for developers
• Capability to prototype rapidly, whether in Figma or Framer
• Strong organisational skills with well-structured design pages and naming conventions
• Fluency in English
• High self-motivation and ability to meet deadlines reliably
• Comfort working in an adaptive, fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to collaborate in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team
