Product Engineer (Frontend) (m/f/d)

As a Product Engineer at Particula, you own your user-facing applications end to end. You work directly with internal and external stakeholders as well as backend and AI engineers to turn high-level goals into shipped, well-measured features. You spot user friction, propose fixes, build them, measure outcomes and iterate quickly. You also shape how the team builds software with AI agents, translating requirements into working code and establishing the guardrails, automated tests and review habits that keep quality high when code is AI-assisted.

What you'll do

• Ship features end to end, taking concepts from conversation to production and covering UX design, frontend implementation, API integration and deployment.
• Act as a product builder by spotting friction points, pitching improvements and ensuring every feature solves a real user need.
• Implement analytics, track feature adoption and iterate based on the data.
• Work directly with internal teams and external stakeholders, turning unstructured feedback into clear technical plans.
• Use and orchestrate coding agents daily, write the specs and plans, choose the patterns and approach, and review generated code before pushing it.
• Be one of the main reviewers of frontend pull requests, balancing working functionality with manageable review workload.
• Maintain and extend the shared component library and UI guidelines so the product stays consistent, with support from an external design agency for visual direction.
• Propose and set up the QA and testing strategy for your area, using automated E2E and component tests to ensure reliability, performance and security.

What you bring

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering with evidence of owned product work: features you took from problem to production and measured.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency and deep expertise with a modern component framework, ideally Vue 3 or Nuxt.
• A track record of designing clean, functional interfaces and delivering features without dedicated product managers or designers.
• Hands-on experience setting up and using analytics tools such as PostHog, Amplitude or Mixpanel.
• Active, daily experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Copilot, with a clear method for guiding them and checking what they produce.
• Experience with automated E2E and UI testing tools like Playwright, Cypress or Vitest, the ability to define a testing strategy, and the discipline to review code before it merges.
• Fluent written and spoken English, comfortable presenting ideas to non-technical stakeholders and working through written proposals.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in fintech, Web3, digital assets or data-driven products.
• Experience building or maintaining a component library.
• Experience building APIs and backend-for-frontend layers, ideally with PHP and Laravel.
• Practical experience with AWS environments, deployments and observability.
• Experience creating agent skills or CI guardrails for AI-assisted development.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
